Kiliii Yüyan: Photographer and storyteller, Kiliii explorers the question: How are Indigenous peoples so often so good at conservation? In Guardians of Life, he showcases Indigenous stewardship in action- the coral reefs of Palau, the steppes of Mongolia, the rainforests of the Amazon, and the sea ice of Greenland. Each community demonstrates what is possible when Indigenous values, traditional ecological knowledge, and modern strategies combine to protect the land and ecosystems that sustain life.
